1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of Resumii, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you do not have permission to use the platform. Resumii is operated by Resumii, based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. You can reach us at resumii.ca@gmail.com.

2. What Resumii Offers

Resumii is a freemium platform that currently provides an AI-powered resume builder and a LinkedIn profile analyzer, with more job and LinkedIn tools planned for the future. Some tools are available at no cost. Others require credits, which are purchased as a one-time payment — there are no subscriptions or recurring charges.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date. You must be at least 16 years old to use Resumii. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform.

4. Credits and Payments

Certain features on Resumii require credits, purchased as a one-time payment through Stripe. Credits are added to your account immediately after a successful purchase and do not expire. Credits are non-refundable once used. We reserve the right to adjust credit pricing with reasonable advance notice.

5. Acceptable Use

When using Resumii, you agree not to submit false or fabricated information about your experience or qualifications; use our AI tools to generate content intended to deceive employers; scrape or reproduce any part of the platform for commercial purposes; attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with our systems; share your account with others; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose under Canadian or international law.

6. Your Content

You own the content you bring to Resumii — your work history, skills, LinkedIn data, and personal details. By submitting this content, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide our services to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. The resumes and profile suggestions you create are yours to use — we claim no ownership over the career documents you produce.

7. AI-Generated Content

Resumii uses Claude, an AI model by Anthropic, to generate resume content and LinkedIn profile suggestions. AI outputs are a starting point — review everything carefully before using it in a job application. Our tools are not a substitute for professional career advice, and we do not guarantee any specific employment outcome from using Resumii.

8. Intellectual Property

The Resumii platform — including its interface, AI integrations, resume templates, branding, and underlying code — is owned by Resumii and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

9. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Resumii running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are actively building the platform and may add, modify, or discontinue features over time, with reasonable notice where possible.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Resumii is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including missed job opportunities or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or $50 CAD, whichever is greater.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Calgary, Alberta, unless otherwise required by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Resumii after that point means you accept the updated terms.
